Welcome

Greyfriars Classical Academy (GCA), located in Matthews, NC, is a classical, Christian high school which opened in the fall of 2009. We are currently accepting applications for grades 9-12, for next school year.

GCA is a day school, but our class structure resembles that of a university, meeting together Mondays, Wednesdays and part of Fridays. Our curriculum integrates theology, history, literature, mathematics, science, aesthetics, logic, rhetoric, and language (Latin and Spanish). Each subject is taught from a decidedly biblical worldview by an expert in the field.

We are especially interested in giving Christian families an affordable option by which their children can continue to receive an exceptional, Christian education through the challenging high school years.
