GCA at Samaritan’s Purse

In December, a team of 22 GCA students and friends served together at the Operation Christmas Child processing center.  Our team worked in two assembly lines to inspect, pack, seal, and process gift-filled shoe boxes to ready them for their journey around the world to needy children for Christmas.  This was a special way to spread the gospel of Christ to many who have never heard about the birth of our Savior.  We packed boxes bound for Paraguay and Ghana.

At one point, we were asked to pray for the intended recipient of one of the boxes.   It was wonderful to be the last persons to pour love into these gifts before they arrived in the hands of a smiling child.  Thank you Samaritan’s Purse for this far-reaching ministry, and allowing Greyfriars to be a part.
